PRODUCTS - With over forty years of electronic design and manufacturing experience, mostly in the audio industry, I still love taking on challenges and winning! For me, designing something and seeing it through to a commercial product, is as creative as writing and producing in the studio. Under this category,  you can browse through the things I make to help musicians, producers and engineers, along the way. 🙂

V02 mounting bracket for Vecoven PWM kit for Roland MKS-70

Product Details

My V02 mounting bracket makes fitting the Vecoven analogue PWM boards into the MKS-70, so much easier.

The V02 is supplied with all fixing hardware to properly secure the Vecoven PWM daughter-boards.

Full user guide available after purchase.

IMPORTANT:

  • V02 is NOT suitable for Vecoven digital PWM kit.
  • V02 bracket occupies the space that was previously taken by the mains transformer. Hence, it can ONLY be used if Guy Wilkinson's P0004 switched-mode power supply is installed and hence, the transformer is removed.
  • V02 mounting bracket is a great solution and keeps things tidy but... due to the fact that the V02 mounts the Vecoven PWM boards in very close proximity to the voice-boards, it's strongly recommended that vertical IDC headers are fitted to the PWM boards and that the Molex headers used on the ribbon cables are NOT foldback types.

A guide to mounting the Vecoven PWM daughter-boards to the V02 and securing the V02 into your MKS-70, is available after purchase.

UPDATE - 26th June 2022

With the addition of three M3 holes, V02 can be easily converted to V02B and can be used to mount the controller PCB of Guy Wilkinson's GU-280 VFD module. Using the V02B makes the GU-280 installation A LOT easier!

More information about using the V02B with the GU-280 VFD module can be found here.

A NOTE ON PACKAGING – I believe and support recycling and try to do what I can. As such, if you’re buying items from me, please don’t feel disappointed with regards your packaging! It may not be new or branded (or shiny) but let’s face it, you’re only going to chuck it anyway.

A WORD ON SHIPPING COSTS

Annoyingly, my shopping cart software displays shipping information after you’ve confirmed your payment option. I’m trying to get this changed as I believe that customers should always know exactly what they’re paying. Of course, I have no control over import duties but I try my best to give clear, concise information.

I therefore maintain a ‘Shipping Prices’ page and visitors to my website who are interested in buying stuff, have the opportunity to check shipping costs to their country / region.

My shipping costs are calculated on item value and not weight as everything is insured.
