  • If you're outside the UK, your purchases may be subject to import duties which I'm afraid, I can't predict.
  • After purchase, you'll want to go to 'Shopping Cart'. Please enter a valid e-mail address and then press <Enter> on your keyboard to bring up shipping options and delivery address entry option. You can still cancel your purchase if you wish.

Product Details

Finally a solution for the annoying skipping data knob on the Marshall JMP-1, Eclipse is a small 'bounce eliminator' which can be installed by anyone with a little technical competence.

Back in 1992, Marshall decided to connect the data encoder in its new MIDI valve pre-amp, directly to the processor. Over time, this causes problems and it can become quite frustrating to manually select patches or enter parameters as the data encoder seems to jump or skip past where you want to go!

Eclipse addresses this problem permanently! With a little technical competence, Eclipse only requires one solder joint.

Available with optional replacement data encoder which I totally recommend as they're getting hard to find!

Fully detailed, illustrated and printable installation instructions are available after purchase. If you miss the link, please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll send them out to you.

Read more about Eclipse here.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the wires coming off the original encoder may not be long enough to reach Eclipse when it is positioned in the place shown in various illustrations. If you therefore do not intend to purchase an encoder with your Eclipse, please be prepared to lengthen / replace the wires that come off it.

HINT: While you've got your JMP-1 open, why not consider adding my new replacement CR2032 battery adapter for only 15 GBP?

Eclipse is hand-built in Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom.

A WORD ON SHIPPING COSTS

Annoyingly, my shopping cart software displays shipping information after you’ve confirmed your payment option. I’m trying to get this changed as I believe that customers should always know exactly what they’re paying. Of course, I have no control over import duties but I try my best to give clear, concise information.

I therefore maintain a ‘Shipping Prices’ page and visitors to my website who are interested in buying stuff, have the opportunity to check shipping costs to their country / region.

My shipping costs are calculated on item value and not weight as everything is insured.
