So I've had a bit of a nightmare with Vigortronix this year. Back in January, I placed my first order of the year with Vigortronix, for a bunch of AC/DC converters, toroidal transformers and audio transformers. The order was accepted and I paid the proforma invoice on 26th January.
Several weeks after payment, I received some converters but the order was far from complete.
Last week, I chased up the order again. This time I reminded Vigortronix of the payment date for the order and at last someone seemed to realise that something wasn't right. I eventually received an email from Vigortronix informing me of yet another completion date.
Today I finally received the outstanding AC/DC converters. Only problem is that it's 15th July, almost seven (yes, SEVEN) months since I paid for them.
I've been reassured that an internal investigation is underway with a view to ensure that this kind of thing doesn't happen again.
Of course, I'm not happy. I have a rack of power supplies that I haven't been able to send out and some customers that who have been waiting at least as long as I have for these damn things.
Although not my fault, I can only apologise to those extremely patient and understanding people who bought my power supplies.
Next week is going to be busy. No repairs, no new orders processed as getting my backlog out will be my only priority.

Today I had to make a couple of Galaxy PSUs for the Behringer DEQ2496. After seven months of waiting, I discovered that Vigortronix had sent me the wrong 2W converters!!! 😡 Instead of 15V, they sent me 18V.
